Location for Dinner Meetings & Registration
All dinner meeting are held the second Tuesday of every month. The start time of the dinner meeting is 5:30 pm. We DO NOT MEET in February, March, and April.
All members are also invited to attend the Board of Directors Meeting which is on the same day as the dinner meeting. The start time of the Board of Directors meeting is 4:00 pm.
The location of all meetings is Sheraton Mission Valley located at 1433 Camino Del Rio South, San Diego, 92108.
To sign up, you must do so by the Wednesday prior to the meeting, the dinner price is $25 for CSEA members and $33 for non-members. All persons not registering for the dinner meeting will pay $40 regardless if you are a member of CSEA.

01/11/12 - Ethics - IRS presentation - Karen Hawkins - Direct of OPR - PREPAYMENT REQUIRED
We have invited the head of OPR - Karen Hawkins, JD to come and speak tonight and she has accepted our invitation. You don't want to miss this one. Ms Hawkins will provide us insight and information in regards to best practices, proper ethical conduct, and the possible consequences for failing to follow ethical conduct so that all of us can be better tax professionals.
You will want to sign up for this one early as we have booked the ballroom and expect to fill the house with 200 local tax professionals

05/08/2012 - Overview of CFS Products and how to use them in your practice - Marcia Davis, EA and Todd Davis, CFS Software
Tonight we will have Marcia Davis and her Todd Davis down to San Diego to go over the CFS Software product line to show us how to use the software to help us better serve our clients. I've personally been using their software for over 10 years and use it routinely. There are so many modules and components to the various software, you will be amazed at what you receive for the price of the license.

Tonight we have Renee Rodda, JD from Spidells Publishing coming down to discuss various eldercare issues. This can be a very sensitive topic and it certainly holds a lot of areas of concern not only for us but for our clients. So many people take advantage of this population, we can be part of the front line to help protect them and if they have considerable assets, help them to plan ways to pass those assets along to their family instead of the government.
