Our Chapter offers several Seminars thoroughout the year. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, May through January from 5:00 to 8:30, in Mission Valley at The Handlery Hotel, 950 Hotel Circle North, San Diego, CA 92108 (619) 298-0511. The Board meeting begins at 4:00, registration is at 5:00, the speaker begins at 5:30, dinner is at 6:30 and at 7:30 the speaker continues for another hour. Approved CPE certificates are provided. For reservations: call our voice mail at 800-642-1040 or email us by 5:00 pm the Thursday preceeding the meeting. Cost: $30 for members and spouse; $36 for nonmembers and $40 for all late reservations . Pay by credit card.

Meeting - September 14, 2010 - Lisa Ihm, EA leads a game of 'Tax Jeopardy'. Attendees pick the topic to take questions form. Lisa will cover lots of topics and there is a valuable prize for the winner! 2 hours of CPE. Dinner: Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken.

Seminar - September 27, 2010 - NOLs and 1045 Preparation; Jeff Ward, EA, PhD will teach you to calculate NOLs, when to carryback or carryforward and when not to trust your software calculation. 6 hours of CPE. Seminar - September 29, 2010 - (Afternoon Session); "C" is for Conversion; Vicki Mulak, EA, CFP will be back to speak on converting a C Corp to an S Corp wiht all the nuances. 3 hours of CPE. Meeting - October 12, 2010 - Wayne Otchis , CPA will speak on the new Health Care Reform Package. 2 hours of CPE. Dinner: Chicken Avellino.

Seminar - November 1 & 2, 2010 - COD in the REal World; Lisa Ihm, EA will conduct a two day seminar on COD, Foreclosures, Sort Sales and Bankruptcy. Includes case studies. Bring your laptop with your tax program installed (not required) and work the cases. 16 hours of CPE. Location: National University, 9388 Lightwave Ave., San Diego, CA 92123. Meeting - November 9, 2010 - Chris Meacham, CPA speaking on Real Estate Tax Stategies . 2 hours of CPE. Dinner: Grilled Filet of Salmon.

Meeting - December 14, 2010 - Kim Kastl, EA our CSEA State President will be visiting and speaking on representation . 1 hour of CPE. This evening is our annual holiday party. Come enjoy the festivities.
